These are the terms that govern your use of FunctionalMedFind — whether you're a patient searching for a practitioner or a practitioner managing a listing. We've written them in plain English so they're actually readable.
By using FunctionalMedFind — browsing the site, searching for practitioners, claiming a listing, or purchasing a subscription — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
These terms apply to everyone who uses FunctionalMedFind, including patients, visitors, and practitioners. "We," "us," and "our" refer to FunctionalMedFind. "You" refers to you, the person or entity using the site.
FunctionalMedFind is a directory that connects patients with functional medicine practitioners. We help people searching for root-cause care find licensed practitioners who specialize in functional medicine, integrative medicine, and related approaches.
We are not a medical provider, medical group, or healthcare system. We do not employ practitioners, schedule appointments, or facilitate clinical care. We are a directory — a searchable index of practitioners — and nothing more.
Using FunctionalMedFind to search for and browse practitioners is free. There is no charge to patients, ever.
Practitioner listings exist to help you find care. They are informational only. Listing on this directory does not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of quality of care from FunctionalMedFind.
You should always verify a practitioner's credentials, licensure, and suitability for your specific situation independently before beginning any treatment relationship. License numbers displayed on profiles are provided as a convenience — confirm current license status directly with the relevant state licensing board.
Nothing on FunctionalMedFind constitutes medical advice. See Section 8 for our full medical disclaimer.
Practitioners may have a basic listing on FunctionalMedFind at no cost. Some profiles are created from publicly available data in the federal NPI (National Provider Identifier) registry — see Section 7 for details on NPI data and how to request removal.
Practitioners can claim, update, or request removal of their listing at any time by emailing hello@functionalmedfind.com.
Paid plans are available for practitioners who want enhanced visibility:
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Founding rates are available for a limited number of practitioners and are locked for the lifetime of an active subscription.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly on the date you subscribe. Billing is handled securely through Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard or by contacting us at hello@functionalmedfind.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. There are no partial-month refunds.
Founding rates — $49/month for Verified and $99/month for Featured — are locked for the life of your subscription. Your rate will never increase as long as your subscription remains active and in good standing. If you cancel and later re-subscribe, you will be charged the then-current rate, which may be higher.
We reserve the right to change our pricing for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers at founding rates are not affected.
By claiming or managing a listing on FunctionalMedFind, you confirm that:
FunctionalMedFind reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing that contains inaccurate or misleading information, has an expired or revoked license, or otherwise violates these terms. We may do this with or without prior notice.
Some practitioner profiles on FunctionalMedFind are created from data in the federal National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry, which is a public database maintained by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This data is publicly available and may be used by third parties.
If you are a practitioner and would like to have your NPI-sourced profile removed from FunctionalMedFind, please email us at hello@functionalmedfind.com with your name, NPI number, and a brief request. We will process removal requests within 10 business days.
FunctionalMedFind does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on this site — including practitioner profiles, articles, condition pages, or any other content — should be taken as medical advice or used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.

FunctionalMedFind is provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, profile, or content on the site.
FunctionalMedFind is not liable for any decisions — medical, financial, or otherwise — that you make based on information found on this directory. This includes decisions about which practitioner to see, treatments to pursue, or any outcome of care.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FunctionalMedFind's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or $0 if you have not paid us anything).
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from your use of FunctionalMedFind will be resolved in accordance with applicable federal law.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active practitioners via email.
Your continued use of FunctionalMedFind after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
